Miracles may attract people to Christianity or a local church but there is no guarantee that such people will become dedicated followers of Christ once they get what they want.
Who would have thought many of Jesus' disciples would leave Him just because they did not understand what He said in John 6, despite the numerous miracles He had done in their presence.
